A bit about me:
I was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa where I studied medicine. In 1994 I moved to London and work here as a GP and skin surgeon for the NHS.
I have done figurative ceramics since my student days and sculpture in its various forms remains my great passion.
Drawing on psychology, mythology and the natural world, my work includes small stoneware figures and busts portraying themes of transformation, loss, hope and nostalgia.
I use slips, oxides and glazes to enhance the works.
graduated with a BA (hons) inphotography in 1997. I have been working as a freelance photographer since then.
