My sculptural work is about the human form and its expressions, be they
tragic or comical
I have worked figuratively in clay for many years.
Jewellery: I like the idea of wearable art and draw my ideas from many
Japanese netsuke, the Venus figurines, the plaster casts from Pompeii,
paintings by Hieronymus Bosch and Brueghel, comics, personal
photographs and life drawings - anything that interprets the human form
in an interesting and unusual way.
